Purpose:
Export attributes from Paper Space to Excel

Note: This plugin exports attributes of blocks inserted across all Paper Spaces.
Processing mode: Acts on the active DWG (one file at a time).

This tool extracts information from blocks placed in Paper Spaces (presentations/layouts) and sends it to an Excel file. You retrieve the attributes (titles, tags, title blocks, etc.) of each layout in a single table.
You can then edit layers, attributes, etc., directly in Excel.

  1. Select blocks to analyze

    Select the blocks present in Paper Space.
    You can target only certain title blocks / stamps / info blocks.

  2. Traverse layouts

    The software goes through all layouts (all Paper Space tabs), detects the selected blocks, and reads their attributes. It collects this data to build the Excel file.

  3. Export to Excel

    The collected information is exported to an Excel file: each row represents a block found in a layout, with its attributes.

  4. Edit layers

    In the generated Excel, you can change the layer of the exported blocks.
    This is useful to harmonize a title block’s layers across all layouts.

  5. Edit attributes

    You can edit block attribute values
    (text, reference, title, etc.) directly in this Excel file.
    This is where you correct header info, legal notices, dates, etc.

  6. Excel ready for review/correction

    The final Excel file is ready for your corrections, client approval, or internal review.
    You can then reimport these values into the DWG using the import plugin.
